At that time, BUNN developed the first paper coffee filter for commercial use. BUNN's pioneering spirit didn't stop there. In 1963, the company created the first pour-over coffee brewer, the model X. Considered the best coffee maker of its time, the Model X was the company's cornerstone product. In 1972, BUNN broke new ground with the introduction of the first commercial quality coffee maker for the home. The 'My Café' model made its debut in 2005, allowing users around the world to enjoy a single cup of coffee or tea any time they wished.

Today, we continue to design and manufacture innovations in home coffee brewers and commercial beverage equipment from our headquarters in Springfield, IL. In 2010, we introduced the Phase Brew, which heats and releases water only after it has reached the optimal brewing temperature.
